Hi there! I’m Jignasha, but everyone calls me Jiga. I’m the second half of the husband-and-wife team at the practice – and the quieter of the two!

I love providing a calm, high-quality, and modern patient experience, twinned with old-fashioned values of leading a friendly, warm, and welcoming team, being involved in the community, and providing continuity of care for families and their friends. 

Aside from this, walking along the Thames is one of my favourite pastimes, along with cooking with my headphones on—though my husband’s seemingly never-ending appetite has slightly spoiled this! He’s an excellent co-owner, though, as we manage to split the raising of our two children while looking after the patients and the practice.

Qualifications and Education 

BDS (Liverpool) Honours 

After qualifying from Liverpool in 2004, I completed the certification for cosmetic dentistry and complex occlusion with Dr Chris Orr, one of the UK’s most prominent cosmetic dentists, in 2011 and 2017.

In the following years, I completed numerous courses in the UK and Europe to keep up with the most modern cosmetic procedures, from bonding and smile makeovers to facial aesthetics.

Likes 

Improving patients’ smiles, mainly via the new digital experience, is one of my favourite parts of being a dentist. The patients are so much more involved now and feel so much more a part of their transformation.

Also, seeing when nervous patients grow confident with their care is a journey I love and never get tired of.
